Another Layout Share

Ok, so remember I told you I was challenging myself to use my scrappy supplies up that I had on hand?  Well, this little layout I did of my son is from a RAK I recieved from Queen Pea....AKA Phillane, whimsical endeavors on YouTube about a year ago.  She sent me this really cute echo park paper thinking that I could use it for some layouts of my son.  Well, Queen Pea I finally got around to using some of it up! LOL I apologize for the pictures not being wonderful I took them from my phone because I wanted to get this posted before I am off and running to take my son to swim lessons this afternoon.  I hope I have inspired you to dig out some of your supplies and get creative! :)

Bahamas Fun Layout....

Today just a quick share of another layout for my sons album.  It is a two page layout I created with Graphic 45 Tropical Travelouge paper as accent pieces.  I wanted the feeling of the Bahamas flag in this layout color wise, but I also wanted to be able to fit a bunch of pictures on one page.  So, this is what I came up with.  I hope you enjoy it and have a wonderful day!! :)

Spread your wings and fly....

I have made a promise to myself that I would try to use up some of the supplies I have gathered over the last few years that were just sitting there begging to be used.  With that in mind I knew my son's scrapbook album was falling way behind and rather then try to play catch up when he is 18 I figured I would try my best to do a layout a day to utilize both my scrappy supplies and get caught up on his book.  So with that in mind this is a layout I did of him at the botanical gardens a few months ago.  I used K & Co.  Flora and Fauna paper collection, sprayed the background with some lindys and white paint.  I also used some mold paste to create the butterfly that is on the page and then painted it purple with some Lindy's mist.  The letters are all mostly Thickers that I painted to match the rest of the layout.  I hope you like it and have a wonderful day!! :)

Another Beach Layout...

Hi today I created this little layout using the Pink Paislee Nantucket collection.  I started with a basic white piece of cardstock splattered a little Lindy's spray on it.  Stitched around the edges and then did a little fussy cutting of the fish and flowers from the collection. I hope you like it and it inspires you to get creative today.  :)

Beach Layout

A layout I completed today of my son at the National Seashore.  I used some papers from the Graphic 45 On The Boardwalk line as well as some raw canvas that I inked and sprayed.  I stiched the outer edge of this layout in a zig zag pattern and added a wooden embellishment of an anchor and a sea turtle.  Which I found fitting for this because the Texas National Seashore is the place where the endangered Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle's come to lay their eggs.  Hope I have given you a little inspiration today to scrap some of those summertime beach photo's you may have laying around or better yet have just taken on this wonderful Fourth of July!! :)
Hope you are all having a happy and safe Fourth!! Thanks for stopping by today!

Just a little something I made....

Hi everyone, just wanted to share with you a little mixed media project I made recently, using the Graphic 45 Magic of Oz paper line and my Penny Farthing Die.  The base of this model is a flat canvas I used mold paste on to create the 3D bricks.  I then painted the bricks yellow to create the "yellow brick road"  the house was a wooden bird house I altered and added shingles too to sort of represent Dorothys house from the wizard of oz...Hope you like it let me know what you think.
