Ok, so remember I told you I was challenging myself to use my scrappy supplies up that I had on hand? Well, this little layout I did of my son is from a RAK I recieved from Queen Pea....AKA Phillane, whimsical endeavors on YouTube about a year ago. She sent me this really cute echo park paper thinking that I could use it for some layouts of my son. Well, Queen Pea I finally got around to using some of it up! LOL I apologize for the pictures not being wonderful I took them from my phone because I wanted to get this posted before I am off and running to take my son to swim lessons this afternoon. I hope I have inspired you to dig out some of your supplies and get creative! :)
Today just a quick share of another layout for my sons album. It is a two page layout I created with Graphic 45 Tropical Travelouge paper as accent pieces. I wanted the feeling of the Bahamas flag in this layout color wise, but I also wanted to be able to fit a bunch of pictures on one page. So, this is what I came up with. I hope you enjoy it and have a wonderful day!! :)
I have made a promise to myself that I would try to use up some of the supplies I have gathered over the last few years that were just sitting there begging to be used. With that in mind I knew my son's scrapbook album was falling way behind and rather then try to play catch up when he is 18 I figured I would try my best to do a layout a day to utilize both my scrappy supplies and get caught up on his book. So with that in mind this is a layout I did of him at the botanical gardens a few months ago. I used K & Co. Flora and Fauna paper collection, sprayed the background with some lindys and white paint. I also used some mold paste to create the butterfly that is on the page and then painted it purple with some Lindy's mist. The letters are all mostly Thickers that I painted to match the rest of the layout. I hope you like it and have a wonderful day!! :)
I am a soulmate to the most wonderful man in the world who inspires me everyday to chase after my dreams and to never give up. I am a mother to a wonderful two year old little boy who is my inspiration for most of my scrappy obsessions lol. I am a scrapbook store owner by day and a scrap artist and videographer by night when the house is sleeping. I am a eco maniac and an animal lover. I try my best to live as green as possible I love our planet and hope we don't destroy it before my son and grandkids get a chance to enjoy it.
