Handmade Smash book....

Today I finished making my version of a pretty cute smash book, that will be headed off to a sweet friend tomorrow.  I used Pink Paislee paper "Daily Junque" for the cover of the album, layered three layers of lace onto the cover and finished it off with a row of flat back pearls.  The Cameo in the center is a Websters Pages Cameo,  I used a nestables scallop die in the background to silhouette her out.  Trimmed her  with some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and some bling.  All of the materials I used to make this book can be found in our store.  The inside pages were mostly scraps that I had in the scrap bin....What a great way to recycle!  :)  I bound the album with a zutter bind it all using 3/4" rings.  I hope you like it and feel inspired to break into your scrap bin and see what goodness you can create.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Happy Scrappin' :)

Paris themed Cigar Box

Happy Friday!!!  I hope everyone had a wonderful week.  I just finished up this little project it is a Paris themed cigar box.  I used Websters Pages paper (which is available in the store)  for the background and some vintage lace.  The journal page is a digital image I picked up somewhere along the line.  I added some flowers and crystal drops to decorate the image and added a Tim Holtz ornate plate that i distressed with some baby yellow acrylic paint.
Also, very very few Smash accessories came in today, (the manufacturer is sending out small orders a little at a time as they recieve it)  if you were one of the many that were waiting on some you may want to stop in and pick them up.  Have a wonderful weekend!  Thank you for stopping by today.

Back To The Grind....

Did everyone have a great weekend?  We took my two year old son to go see fireworks at the beach.   After getting out of the car and wanting to take a few pictures I realized I had taken the memory card out of my camera earlier that day when we went to Best Buy to buy another one, and had forgotton to replace it.  I was not very happy, It's a scrappers nightmare to not be able to take pictures lol...Anyways, I made a little card over the weekend using a Some Odd Girl Digi Image.  I colored the image in with copic markers and fussy cut her out, I cut the card on the Accucut machine and popped the mermaid up on popdots added some bling where the bubbles were in the image and distressed the edges in pink.  Added a little flower trim on the bottom, easy peasy.  :)  It was a fun and relaxing little project I mean who dosn't like to color.  LOL
Thanks for stopping by today, happy crafting!! :)
